- We have released version 1.8.3 of Minecraft, which brings a bunch of optimizations and bug fixes. It’s 100% compatible with older 1.8.x versions.

Upgrading:
- just run new install and install new Launcher (you don't need to remove old Launcher or files)
- upgrade WILL NOT delete your single player worlds, Launcher profiles or User profiles.

Instructions:
- Download files.
- Run setup and install Launcher.
- You will now have "Minecraft" icon on your desktop - use it to start Launcher
- Enter your "username" - it can be anything you want
- Press "Play" button
- Enjoy Minecraft :)
